3Shape – TRIOS 5

In September 2022, 3Shape launched the ultimate TRIOS model. TRIOS 5 is an intra-oral scanner that has received clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration and sets a new standard in patient protection and infection control. It is hygienic by design. It features a closed autoclavable scan tip and mirror, and an ultra-thin, snug and near-invisible sleeve minimises the risk of cross-contamination.

It is also 3Shape’s smallest and lightest intra-oral scanner to date and is perfectly balanced and made to fit comfortably in every hand. The ScanAssist engine delivers precision scans effortlessly and efficiently. The sensory feedback enables smooth and fast scanning and allows practitioners to concentrate on providing excellent care to patients.
