GOTHENBURG, Sweden: Neoss, a Swedish implant manufacturer, is presenting its simplified and patient-friendly prosthetic workflow at the 2022 Annual Swedish Dental Congress and Swedental exhibition in Gothenburg from today until Friday. The company is demonstrating its latest intra-oral scanner, the NeoScan 1000, in combination with a two-in-one solution: the Neoss aesthetic healing abutment into which the dedicated scan abutment ScanPeg can be inserted. This method offers an intuitive, efficient and biocompatible way to take an accurate dental impression.

Research conducted by digital dentistry expert Dr Michael Braian comparing the accuracy of the NeoScan 1000 with that of TRIOS 3 (3Shape), Emerald (Planmeca), CS 3600 (Carestream Dental) and iTero (Align Technology) found that the Neoss scanner was as accurate as or more accurate than the premium market leaders.

Visitors to Swedental 2022 will have the opportunity to attend live demonstrations of the NeoScan 1000 at the Neoss booth (#B04:30) on Thursday and Friday from 1 p.m. The demonstrations will be performed by Dr Marcus Dagnelid, a board-certified prosthodontist with more than 15 years of experience in digital dentistry, who will address any questions concerning the scanner and digital workflow.

In addition, attendees are invited to participate in the company’s lucky draw event at its booth—every day, two winners will be announced at 3 p.m.—and to enjoy complimentary barista coffee and snacks.
